Mobile Title Layout issues @telnic Since the new option came out i walk in to some problems The text was always jumping arround and displayed diffrent on desktop And mobile, but now its completly broke bigtime Can you pls do somthing telnic, because my whole directory, or better said, all new pages i put in look terrible PLS help ! And its not a cache thing because i cleaned it It also shows upp strange in the Google balk S-C-H-E-V-E-N-I-G-E-N-.T-E-L™ ect ect ect PLS WHATS UPP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didt it on the pc copying and pasting some Titel text then it shows up so strange on my mobile before that wasnt the case and it was walking synchrone with mobile it seems its out of line, the mobile And desktop! When i copy a titel text from my iPhone And paste it true mytel, it dose show upp good! I made a streetindex 364 folders manualy And The came all out like that, i am not happy! I shure hope there there is a little fix for this |
Michel, We've not made any changes to the title section with this release, and looking at http://strandpaviljoens.gids.scheveningen.tel on my iphone the title is well formatted, with one word on the top line and the other on the second line. You say this is just happening to new folders? Have these been created since the release on Wed? Do you have any other examples that I can look at? Is anyone else with an iPhone able to replicate what Dutch is seeing in the screenshot above? |

When you want to submit the title text manualy, like on the picture above it is not even posseble! So i realy wounder how it popped upp like that |

Yes I copied excisting SCHEVENIGEN.TEL™ from excisting to new folders! Just like i always do |
So, within the CTH, you copy the title from one folder and paste it as the title to another folder. Do you know how you created the first one? It seems to have a lot of hidden characters which are causing the strange formatting on different browsers and phones. For example, have you looked athttp://scheveningen.tel/ in IE9? |
i copy text from my site to cth! And i am glade you notice all the strange characters, i am not putting that there but the cth!!!!! Mabey because i work with caps! |
The additional characters that are in there are actually hyphens (-) which have at some stage been put between every letter and are being copied over when you copy and paste. Some browsers are ignoring them, others display them, while they are causing formatting issues in others unfortunately. Did you at some stage try to enter the title as "S-C-H-E...."? |

Now i am seeing German on mytel, is this new?! We'll have a look why that German label has appeared, Dutch. With regards to your titles, it seems that somehow you original title contained those hidden hyphens. Did you copy it from somewhere else initially? If so they could have been included at that stage. Unfortunately as you have copied that original elsewhere the hyphens have also been copied from one folder to another. |
Goodmorning Aled Well about the title, strange realy strange! Even were its layout is good, when you coppy And paste in Google, it shows upp with those - I am almost shure i didt not copy it like that, but okay we Will see in the feature what Will happen! My greatest problem still is the CTH, not working on my pc ! And i am realy sorry for bringing somuch problem And work for you boys, It is not my intension |
Dutch - with regards to the German MyTel label, if you log into your CTH for that .tel it will reset itself back to the default language that you work in. Let me know if it doesn't work. |
Hello Aled Do you mean log out and in, in the mytel app I dont now with wich account i made that move, i have 60 in! But i prefer leave it like how it is than, it works fine, And i do understand some German Thanks for the Great help And service to you And the other Telnic employés And i hope no more grazy things on my path this year��THANK YOU |
No, you need to log into the CTH on your PC, that's where the language settings are stored. Thanks - you have certainly found some strange things to test us this week! |
Well i log in everyday in my CTH so i dont think that Will do The trick! Mabey this happend since i logged in, on my new pc, were also The CTH is broke! |
