Silent Tasks during Throttling @Telnic We have been studying the throttling imposed on tel domain updating. And we would like to bring to your attention that we observed that CTH carries out tasks during the blockage or soon after the blockage period without letting the user know about it. For instance, when we tried to delete a folder the throttling came into effect and displayed the red colour background message that we will be blocked for so many seconds. - That's all. It's fair enough. Then later on we noticed that the the CTH has already carried out the request to delete the folder during the blockage. Sometimes the blockage end much earlier that the displayed blockage period (nothing is uniform and making life difficult for developers). Why don't you change your system NOT to carry out any tasks when the message says that you will be blocked for so many seconds. We program the TELcp management tasks according to the SOAP faults etc. When throttling comes into effect it should stop all tasks. Otherwise third party tools such as TELcp can not synchronize with what the CTH would do after the blockage. Therefore, we request you to STOP this tasks being carried out silently during the blockage. Thank you. |
