    Aled,

    Would it be possible to increase the character limit for PMs and, place a countdown message at the bottom of the box - where it is within sight of the send button?

    I have just tried to send a reply to someone and had it rejected because it was too long but, it was only by chance that I noticed the message ABOVE the post as I was moving to the top of the page to log out.

    I now realise that I must have missed this in the past and effectively deleted the replies I had drafted to several messages.

    Unfortunately I can't put a counter on the page but I have increased the limit from 1,0000 characters to 1,500. I hope that helps.
