Google provides businesses with a free listing which, when linked to a .tel name can be used to boost your visibility in their search results. You can create an account as follows:
1. Go to http://www.google.com/placesforbusiness. If you do not already have a Google Account you can create one at https://accounts.google.com/NewAccount
2. Enter your country and phone number. Google will check to make sure that a business has not already been registered against this phone number
3. Enter your “Basic Information” as shown in the Google Places form below, but remember to include your .tel name as your “Website”
4. Complete any other required and applicable fields and submit
5. Google Places will complete the submission by seeking to verify your listing. This can vary between a phone call and them sending a postcard to the address you have provided. Both methods with give you a unique PIN number. Once you have entered this into your Google Places account, your listing will be activated
