Serious people don't register domains for the purpose of speculation, but to build a business on top of their domain.

You can do this with many other terms than with top keywords.

Otherwise, how do you want to explain that .com has more than 126m registrations?

In the current situation, this is the right thing to do.

The probability that .tel will ever become successful is very low.

So it's much better to wait and see, before you invest your money for it.

There may be a possible way to retain your .TEL Subdomains after March 2017 according to Telnic !

I found many comments in this forum where users have requested this heavily!

I tried to submit a complaint to ICANN.
They said "This complaint is not valid for the top-level domain (TLD)." And said case closed. Yeesh now I gotta figure out how to make this complaint VALID. Well anyway I guess this whole mess will go down in history as just stupid, stupid, stupid. I don't know about you but I can't help feel silly with respect to the whole other domainer world out there.

@Telnot - Very droll - http://huw.tel is another one they need to change !
