Blog & Ping for Publicity...

..for both TelTalk's Forum and any links that you have placed in your posts.

Some will be familiar with this, but if you post on a blog or forum there is a quick way to get it indexed in search engines and numerous other places as well - Blog & Ping !

Search engines love blogs or forums for their constantly changing content, so after making a post, or starting a new thread, you can get your content indexed very quickly by submitting the thread URL (eg. http://www.teltalk.org/t570-before-you-register-a-telnames-domain - #nnnn has been removed from end) to a Ping Submitter.

Here's a couple I use - they are free - that have proved to be very effective

According to the Teltalk statistics the Google bot is always online here.
Shouldn't that be fast enough for indexing?

I find my sites get a lot of traffic apart from Google - it's easy to check this for any site using a stats program such as Google Analytics.

I used to use PPC advertising a lot when I started off, but the cost escalated and of course the moment you stopped paying for clicks the traffic immediately ceased.

So using Blog & Ping, which takes only a couple of minutes to do, appeals to my approach of generating maximum targeted traffic from as many sources as possible via free easy-to-use techniques.
