I hate to write it, but Hulltv is right.
Telnic forbids us to create good .tel sites.
Whoever tries to work hard with .tel will be disappointed as long Telnic doesn't allow us to improve our domains.

lets just demand the proper tools for the job all old tel sites look ice cream and new telnames cant be found.....and thats it!

they will give us what we want in time or who takes over... but cumon lets move on and stop trying to work with this rubbish.

and for the movie.tel site sure i have not gone from page to page because its to clunky to navigate

but very well done on your effort its not your fault its telnic and there terrible control panel.

if you are trying to get a good ranking with telnames do this with the pdf in your telnames i have got to page one this way on some search terms so all its not lost

i have a lot of respect for guys on this forum some what have come from the telnic site banned like me were in this together i wish you all well in time i think we will get what we want.

i still like dot i turned down £5000 on sedo for some of my dot tel this year would i do this if i did not like the dot tel idea ..

1- promote your .tel site
2- give your opinion about others sites, .tel, telnames anything relate to .tel
3- ask for help regarding anything on .tel
and many more points regarding .tel

If you open a shoes shop, you cannot tell everyone: do not open a shoes shop around here because this is my area and if you open it somewhere else do not do publicity because you will slag my shoes shop business, that will not happen even in your dream, so for sure I will post here and telnic every week a link to #1 top box office.

People acts according their think, if you think your site and all the others are rubbish, then it is for you; you will see rubbish everywhere. Because I think your site and the others are not rubbish then I do not see rubbish at all.

I suggest you to open new post about your popcorn.tel and write something about this site every day, week or month it is up to you.
and I hope movies.tel come as well, or video.tel or videos.tel, trailers.tel, topboxoffice.tel every one is welcome to promote their .tel regardless if all of them got the same topic, competition is always welcome.

If you need help to set up an email with .tel here is the link, look for point 6: http://telnic.com/community-tips.html I suggest to go for window is much easy to set up than gmail and the others.

BTW: I love ice cream so I going to eat all .tel sites that look like an ice cream

I don't hate to write it, Hulltv and Sunrise are right.

.tel is dog food right now, may .tel serve people food soon.

I WOULD NOT PUT 1- promote your .tel site on top of your list
maybe on launch or once or twice maybe offer mailing list but not all the time.


Anyway if we don't agree that's fine.


But if the format is not good enough for Telnic its not good enough for me! In fact I would be no better than them.


to try and build a site on it i would only be helping them sell dot tels and in return they would be doing nothing for me.


You would be doing more if build a site like this http://www.feedback.tel and link them all together.with your thoughts on tel 


Let's get a big link on Tel sites like feedback, or we can link trailers for movies every week  .....or do nothing but moan

Whilst no-one outside of the company can say for certain that Telnic subdomain .tels will eventually be dropped a couple of clues:

1. The vast majority of items TELNIC stated on their ROADMAP as being launched by the end of Q2 2011 (ie. 30 JUNE 2011) have NOT HAPPENED by today !

2. The ONLY DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING that takes place these days is for TELNAMES SINGLE-PAGE .TELS !

Go figure it out as to where this is LOGICALLY heading !

How much traffic are you getting? Checked your Alexa ranking and your site doesn't have one. I've found my own .tel sites struggle to get Alexa rankings as well.

800 per month, regarding alexa you have to be lucky, just wait for them to pick your .tel we can not submit .tel to them like any other domains.
