Ever since Telnic introduced forum "lockdown" their influence in Google's search results have dwindled away.
Even if any pages are still indexed from pre-lockdown days the moment someone clicks on the Google search results they have to enter a username/password to read the Telnic forum page.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot !

This week I received by private messages some very kind and understanding mental support to convince me continuing Teltalk.org. I want to say thank you for it, but I realize this isn’t enough. I apologize that I have to give this up. This forum pushes me in a very difficult situation. And I'm really afraid the situation will escalate even more. Some members seem to have still not understood the seriousness of the situation. I made up my mind. I don’t want this anymore. Because of the loaded atmosphere I decided the following. I will arrange an auction for TelTalk.org starting coming Friday and running for 1 week. Because I haven’t received any serious offers to buy this forum until now, everybody will be able to buy it for a price starting with 20 €. I believe this is a fair opening bid considering the problems here. This way I'll give others the possibility to let this forum survive. In 2 weeks this forum will have either a new administrator or will be closed. I'll put an end to this soap opera as Telnic just called this forum yesterday, at least for myself! Good idea, but I don't know for sure yet if the auction will receive any bids at all. What's more I can imagine bidders would be afraid of not getting back the deposit. Instead I decided to revise the identity of every bidder through their e-mail address and ownership of a .tel. If necessary I will contact bidders to revise their data. If I should have doubts about the reliability of some bidders, they will be excluded. So far 4 people have shown interest in taking over this forum. I had in mind only accident people. I'm surprised about the good Teltalk search engine performance.
Teltalk appears on the first Google page for the keyword domain forum together with DNforum and Namepros.
Even if Telnic should acquire this forum, Telnic shouldn't close it.
But for the purpose of an open communication let's hope Telnic won't take part in the auction.

Of course the Telnic forum still has "lockdown" in place and therefore gets no free targeted search engine traffic any more.
I've always thought "lockdown" at Telnic's forum was a massive contradiction in terms - a forum dedicated to a domain that was supposed to change the way the world communicates - but inaccessible to search engines and unregistered users !
