Sale of the website TelTalk.org Empty Sale of the website TelTalk.org

Post by Tel Forum 2014-06-11, 6:35 am

When I bought this website in April 2013, I was expecting that the domain extension .tel could still be rescued. Meanwhile I've realized that Telnic is doing everything to fight against its own customers. So I've decided not to participate in this failed business idea anymore!
I've never observed a company before that is only interested in its own ruin! So I'm through with it!

Is there anybody out there still interested in .tel who likes to buy this forum?
Please send me a PM with your intended purchase bid! The highest bid will automatically win!
    Thank you!

Hello, hardly the greatest sales copy to sell a website on :-)! I hear what you're saying about Telnic though. It's so bizarre the way they operate (or don't).

What are the hosting fees per year? And how many cease and desist letters do you get from Telnic a week? Or emails from them threatening legal action if you don't remove posts?

I might be interested but it will be a total Telnic Smack Down forum if I buy it. So would probably have to host it in Afganistan or similar.

    • Renewal fee at name.com: $10.99 per year
    • Whois protection: $3.99 per year
    • Forum hosting: $35 per year
    • Regularly requests from Telnic to delete comments!
    • No cease and desist letter so far, because I've always deleted everything Telnic asked for!
    • No outlook of improvement!

As @TelBlogger said, not the greatest sales copy when trying to sell a .tel forum !

Seriously though I'm very sorry to see @TelForum throw in the towel - though I totally understand why.

My guess is that this is just one more nail in the coffin of

The Greatest Idea The Internet Never Had !

Someone is going to pick up the .tel project for peanuts when Telnic Ltd. finally uses up the last of its $35,000,000 shareholder investment - they may even have to pay he/she to take over this constantly loss-making operation !

For anyone who disagrees with the above I have to ask you to rationally explain

What Exactly Is The Point Of .TEL Any More ?

Telnic / Telnames has destroyed every reason to own a .Tel.
Thanks to the unwillingness of listening to customers!

I've just replaced the ads by the call for help on the left. This happened at the request of some forum members that I like to support.

BTW everyone can help to rescue the TLD .tel by sending a separate complain to ICANN. Please use the link on the left!

I think a fair sale price offer should be sent to dan Prather. It may not be too late (as I am sure positive contributors are simply vacating this site only temporarily)

What a dumb idea. Dan Prather is the global poster boy for political correctness. And that would be the end for this forum.
