Why not put a box somewhere with some .tel prices from other registrars?
To make clear to new visitor that there are other types of tel and other prices...

Teltalk, if it is not a commercial secret, had somebody registered his TEL via that Ad-banner for Telnames TELs?

Yes, although it was not necessary to renounce to the advertising box.

In a world of falling prices for domains and hosting, it's better to inform people that can have .tel sites starting from 10-15 $

Not yet, but that should be only a question of time, I hope.

If a prospective customer searches for information about Telnames, comes to Teltalk and finds the much cheaper prices from Telnic, he could become disappointed about the design differences of his bought mobile .telsite there.

On my smartphone (4 inch screen, Android 2.2) I don't see big differences between the normal .tels and the Telnames .tels.

The only lack of Telnic .tels are the images (of questionable usefulness in the little screen of a smartphone). Text readability excellent in both.

The fact is that Telnames is a British company that currently sells only to British users. While the other hundred or so registrars could sell worldwide...

more advantages for telnames .tel are: better framing of the website and of individual elements like pictures, nicer implementation of videos, not the bad optical implementation of ads, much nicer icons for contacts and a professional look overall
imho the difference is huge
telnames sells worldwide with prices in usd and euro too, but advertises only in uk
