Many times discussed: How can an internet user find a Telname?

    I collected the current problems:

    More ideas?

What could help to change the current impossibility to find a Telname?

In your second link you can read what Telnames can do. More can be done only by Google or Yellow Pages, but so far Telnic couldn’t convince them to integrate .tel in an advanced manner.

Meanwhile everyone is waiting for critical mass before critical mass can be reached. Then more could happen in this matter.
(It sounds ironic, but is the state of things.)

The ONLY possibility to make people able to find your Telname is to place a link from your normal website.
You can forward your "old" website to a Telname for mobile visitors:
    http://www.teltalk.org/t387-forwarding-mobile-users-to-your-tel-name
Or you can implement your Telname into your existing website:
    http://telnic.org/tools-website-integration.html
But if you don’t have a .com, .net, .org or another domain, forget about a Telname. It can’t be found!
This is a pity, because Telnames should be an appealing offer for people who don’t own any website yet.

This is the answer from Telnames: http://telnames.com/faq/

    12. How do my customers find me on search engines?
Once you have populated your .tel name it will take a couple of weeks for Google and the other search engines to “find” and then “index” it. You can speed up this process by submitting your .tel directly to Google at https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url. You can improve your ranking in search by making sure that your .tel name is populated as well possible with unique content. Linking to or from your other website or social media pages, such as Facebook can also have a very positive effect on your ranking.
Perhaps this and the other advices from the FAQ will push your .tel from Google page 64,378 to Google page 391. As long it doesn't appear on page 1, it's not worth the registration fee.
At the moment the chances to get a customer with a .tel are similar to winning the jackpot in the lottery.
