16 day grace period for renewing Tld's Empty 16 day grace period for renewing Tld's

Post by Orangeblossom 2013-10-06, 8:34 am

When I recently went to renew some Tld's the Screen in question said 16 days but I was unable to renew them myself because apparently 16 days had expired even though I tried to do so before 00.01 on the 16th day, while the Screen was still showing 16 days instead of 17 days.

Surely if the renewal Screen is still showing 16 days then I am still within the period of 16 days grace.

Am I wrong or has anyone else had a similar problem?

The so-called grace period is for newly registered domains:

The options for expiring domains depend on every single registrar and are different depending on where you have registered your domain:

You should talk to your registrar as soon as possible to avoid an unwanted drop of your domain.
