What has to be appreciated is that although DATA IN THE DNS is a clever idea USERS SIMPLY DON'T CARE where the data is held - they only care about the service they receive being what they want (or can be persuaded to desire) at a price they find attractive.
The value of the Data In The DNS idea (and the patents if they stop anyone else doing the same) is in how the concept attracts system developers to exploit the idea and create AUTOMATED SOFTWARE SERVICES.
But in nearly 5 years this hasn't happened at all - nada - zilch - nothing - so where's the value in patents that protect a concept that no-one is interested in developing for ?
