Menawhile all important people that helped promoting .tel in the beginning have left:

    http://henri.tel
    http://justin.tel
    http://nadya.tel

And don't forget the outflow of financial resources. You can follow it here:

Further to the resignations of Telnic Directors http://Henri.tel and http://Justin.tel it's interesting to note that on 25 June 2014 and 10/15 July 2014 the 3 Auditors for Telnic Ltd. resigned - see http://companycheck.co.uk/company/03555437/TELNIC-LIMITED/companies-house-docs

It's looking very much like the end game now - I just wish they would get on with it and handover/sell/giveaway the .tel project to a company that can handle it - I hope it's not too late for that now ?

How long can we still use our domains before the operation will be terminated?

there are many .tels with expiration of regs in 2018/19
they are paid for, why wouldn't they not keep resolving.
    this is a nonsense comment

The clearest evidence that Telnic will be shut down soon is that all work has stopped for several years now.

Do you think so? What if Telnic is running out of money? Will Telnic survive only because a few people paid the renewal fees for their domains in advance?

Telnic's agreement with ICANN to operate the .tel extension expires in 2016 - it's renewal is not automatic - but is more likely to happen than not as ICANN really has enough to worry about with all the new gTLDs being launched.

Whether Telnic has enough money left by then to fund the ongoing yearly losses - or can raise the cash needed - is another matter altogether !

It will take several years for the new administration to correct all the mistakes made by Telnic.
The good thing is, whoever will take over can't make a worse job than during the last five years.
Now we can only hope that Telnic will be out soon.
