Anyone here tried to use a .Tel domain in Adwords? Just wondering whether anyone here has tried using a .Tel domain as an Adwords landing page? Is it allowed, or feasible, given their quality scoring requirements? It does however seem like a potentially useful application for .Tel domains. Eg. sell advertising service to clients using .Tel landing pages... of course the client would have to justify the Adwords expense. |

Totally feasible (assuming you create a content-rich .tel that AdWords approves of), but likely to burn a large hole in your pocket very quickly ! You would have to have a very good revenue stream from your .tel to make it worthwhile - so unlikely to be financially rewarding unless you are selling physical products or reasonably high value services from your .tel. Good to hear... yes, Adwords is expensive, but the same applies to any domain. Getting some rich content together shouldn't be a problem, although conversion and return might be. Landing pages specifically tailored to individual products linking to more info could easily be set up using attractive subdomains such as Product.Company.Tel. |

AdWords is expensive we all agree - but with a normal domain extension you can set up a product search with multiple parameters that can be input, or not, before "Search" is pressed to obtain the product results pages (which include the all important thumbnail image against each product listed). The above is impossible with a .tel domain. Mike Seaton[/size] |
