VOIP is our new project

Hi to all,

Telnic promised many many moons ago that they would provide VOIP through .tel.
Well, it never happened.

So, we can't wait any longer.

We have started our own project.
That is to provide VOIP within .tel.
This means to provide VOIP facility to sub domain to sub domain.

We want the head of a family to buy a .tel, share it with other members and make the VOIP facility to call other members of the family.

Similarly, a large company will be able to use VOIP among other users (other sub domains) of the .tel.

We can't tell, at this time, exactly how long it will take.
But it is possible..

Sorry, can not comment more that this at this time.

We will show the world the power of .tel.

Cheers!

just catching up on all the goings on and this appears to be the most interesting... look forward to seeing this in action..

Yes, this will be the beginning of an ideal family.
But .tel is still an eligible bachelor.

Sorry

Sorry to inform you all guys that we have decided to abandon this VOIP project as we find it difficult to integrate such services, the way we want, to the existing .tel platform.

If Telnic decides to implement the once promised page to page VOIP service, then we will be able to introduce certain VAS.

Cheers!

I'm confused. If you have a smart phone you can download the Skype app for instance and then use VOIP to make (data-based) calls from any .tel.

Similar to what you say is already being done through TELcp to indicate Skype Status Button.
But it is not a complete solution.

However, we are aware that .tel has the capability to have its own VOIP using the URL as the Username/ID. (i.e. find the user's telpage and click to connect to VOIP).
Telnic wanted to develop telpage to telpage free VOIP as published long time ago, but looks like they have abandoned the idea. Why they did not implement VOIP is still a mystery to us.

The .tel was to be the "One Place for all communications".
But Telnic changed the original concept to develop cheap websites for SMB's.
Thus, a great and unique technology behind the .tel was neglected.

Instead of making cheap websites, they should have implemented VOIP as a VAS and introduced a new tel powered service that is unique to the .tel system itself.

OK, but if they can do both, it will be even greater

All the resources used for creating cheap websites should have been used on the existing platform and made it a unique system together with a user friendly control panel. Instead of doing that, two paths were chosen. Now everybody is at a crossroads.
