It is possible. Boracay.tel translated into Chinese = 长滩岛.tel Boracay.tel translated into Korean = 보라카이.tel Well, that's what I registered. And when it's typed/copied into the URL it comes up as a .tel website. Anyway, we have 80% Korean and Chinese tourists, so for $10 each .tel domain, and considering that all the top level domains were taken for those characters, we figure it's money well spent. |
No I meant. .tel into something like 电话 So 长滩岛.tel would also be able to become 长滩岛 dot 电话 That is what might be happening for .com & net. |
Understand, thanks for clarifying. The mind boggles! If things weren't confusing enough... Anyway, we are creating a telephone directory. telephone numbers and .tel, I sure hope that idea comes accross in whatever language, ha! |
