Hi Aled Please note that, for the Telnic templates, social media links do not appear on smartphones. For Telnames they do. Any plan to fix this or is this deliberate? |
Hi Gibran, There are no plans currently to add social media buttons on the default smartphone template. Thanks, Aled |
Sounds like a good idea if made as an option. Mark |
Can't say i understand the logic Mark. Why an option? If anyone is building an application in today's world, building for mobile would be the most pressing consideration and building with social media buttons is like a given. The buttons are there on the desktop templates and on the Telnames (mobile) template. Excellent. Why not on all mobile templates - at the bottom of the screen? maybe there is some technical issue that i do not understand. |
Option because currently the buttons only communicate minimal information, eg tweet visit xyz.tel. Option should allow buttons to be connected directly to the social media site, eg if you have a facebook page link on your page, then the button should go to the FB page. Mark |
The links on the page to your social media sites serve their purpose. The 'sharing' buttons serve a different purpose, simply, ' Share This TEL'. An important function in getting Tels broadcast, |
OK, I agree. Mobile proxy should replicate sharing links in same manner as supported on desktop proxy. I would say they need to be near bottom of mobile page. Mark |
