    Welcome to the forum

Welcome to the .tel Community forum!

This forum aims at providing the .tel community with a comfortable discussion area where .tel owners and those who have only heard of .tel can ask questions and share experiences.

We welcome both newbies and gurus, and would greatly appreciate all collaboration within the community. We, the Telnic Community team, will try our best to help and advise on relevant .tel topics. Hopefully, you'll like it here.

Note: The forum has only launched recently, more topics or features will be rolled out in the coming weeks.

If you have recommendations on improving this forum or the Telnic website, or would like to report abuse or unethical behaviour, please use this forum.

    Finally, official forum is here..
but there should be a section for general topics?

    Cheers

    nadya06-10-2009 03:31 PM

    What's a 'General' topic?
Yes, there may be a (potentially large) number of topics that don't fit into existing categories. I'm just a bit concerned that all sorts of good topics will end up non-categorized and will get lost in General. I'm in two minds about this. Any arguments?

    dottel06-10-2009 03:37 PM

Well, General section would be the place for general discussions.
If you are concerned about the drawbacks that arise from the Topics in General section
You can always set that particular forum section not to be indexed by Search Engines

This way you will hold some members in here as well as safeguard the overall forum.
But in any case, properly Mod'ed forums will always gain reputation.

    Cheers

You can write here, or create a new thread under General. I think this can be a very interesting subject that deserves its own thread.[/size]

    Hi All

    Just a quick hello.

Looking really forward to these discussions on the .tel.

It seems a bit like Marmite.

You either love it or hate it.

I love it and think it has a great future.:D

    Gav

    RonMunson07-19-2009 08:57 AM

For the record I love Marmite. The biggest mistake people make is they spread too much on their bread or crackers. :p

Just as an observation. I have noticed many Dot Tel doubters moving over to people that are believers. Does anyone see this trend? I guess useful applications will change some of the nay sayers.

    Hello,

i totally agree there with you Ron, many people who were against .tel even int he early days back in feb and march had bunch stock with them saying just in case. but now the reality is coming out

    Hello Nadya
you guys have been busy over there. The new forum is really nice. I love how it is consistant with the web page.

    Hi all,

We have now enabled the Reputation mechanism. You will see green blocks showing the reputation level and also an icon of the scales to add reputation.

You can approve or disapprove, and optionally provide a comment. Up to 5 reputations will show in the user profile. Your ability to give repeated reputation points to one user or to many users on the same day is limited.

Users will get additional points to your reputation for the registration date, number of posts, etc. which is why some will have a higher reputation to start with.

Just wondered if we're still locked in, if so what are the 15 guests looking at (8 members and 15 guests)

    TELcp04-15-2012 06:49 PM

The guest number has been still fluctuating even after pulling the curtains down.

    Simon G04-15-2012 09:22 PM

Is it possible the guest are bots or auto generated?

    Cees04-16-2012 09:48 AM

At least one of them would be Luois:D
