    Backup Issue Support

I would like to acknowledge the great support that I have received over the past number of days from Aled, and his colleagues in Telnic, when I was unable to backup one of my directories.

Following considerable work, Telnic discovered that a file separator character was causing the export to fail.

They removed the invisible character and the export now works.

These strange characters were added unwittingly by myself when cutting and pasting to the directory folder.

To avoid this being an issue in the future, Telnic is looking into improving the validation so that such problematic characters cannot be saved in future..

A first class service and a big thank you to all in Telnic.

There are some other tricks we learned along the way in regards to file saving, especially to reduce the size by dumping the necessity to include old versions of data the CTH includes (that you may not really need)

Speeds things up dramatically as I recall.
    Aled's tip

That tip works great for reducing big files when uploading.[/size]
