Good news for bulk tel owners with Domain Monster

Good news - Domain monster are just finalising work on providing a mechanism to split out domains per account. Should be live by end of business a week Friday.

    Just in time for renewals

    Enjoy!

Thanks this sounds great as it was becoming a pain to manage all the domains there

    Thank you DomainMonster.com

Note that this is now live and available to use!

It can be found under "Bulk Domain Management" on the right hand side menu in your control panel. It will only appear if you have 2 or more .tel domains in your account.

Note we've approached this slightly differently. Rather than simply say all your domains need to be assigned to one CTH account (As we did) or "explode all" and make each domain have its own CTH account, we allow you to group them as you please. We felt that users were only exploding each and every one into its own CTH account, simply as it was the only other option available to them with registrars.

It works by labelling your domains. So you could create two labels, "Portfolio A" and "Portfolio B". You then assign each domain to a label, in doing so grouping them into CTH accounts accordingly, so you would have two accounts in this case, one for A and one for B. If you want to move between accounts, just go back in and re-label to move to an existing label or make a new label to create "Portfolio C".

The new feature will migrate all your domain content as part of the process.

Finally, note that CTH credentials can now also be found appended to your domain list export as two new columns (user/pwd). To export your domain list, click "View Domain List" in your control panel and then "Export as CSV". Again, will only show if you have two or more .tel domains in your account.

    Hope that helps all.

    Thanks Mark,

This is surely a good news, i was online to be the first one to check it i guess.

    1) drawback ( I created a Label, and its taking too much time to be updated as it says This domain is currently undergoing a Bulk operation. You cannot manage it until this has completed.)

if the delay of this can be minimized to atleast 5-10 sec ( or more if data is there, then there shouldn't be any problem.

another suggestion is if you could make boxes infront of each so if one wants to just tick like 100 at once and put them on on
label it will be easier then flipping all the buttons just a though.

    Thanks

    Shahid

    Hi Shahid

Thanks for the comments. I will feed them back to them team. Note that the time is a limitation of the Telnic API I'm afraid in creating accounts for each domain/group of domains etc, so its likely we won't be able to do much with this in the future.

Thanks for trying it out and hopefully will achieve the objective for the minute. We shall keep improving it.

    Rgds, Mark

More good customer service from a first rate service provider. And you cannot say that too often nowadays.
