If you already own a website, it is possible to automatically redirect all of your mobile visitors to your .tel name. This gives your mobile customers a much better experience. You can see an example of this by trying to access http://bagattis.com on a mobile handset. You will automatically be taken to their .tel page, http://bagattis.tel/.

Setting up an automatic redirect requires just a small amount of code to be added to your existing website. The code below will need to be added by your website administrator/developer to any page that you wish to have redirected. The only change that is needed is the "telnames.tel" in the code needs to be replaced with your .tel name.

How great feature! Now, owner of TEL domain, instead of putting his list of phone numbers on the TEL domain, can redirect the domain to the COM domain.

What an irony. Truly a "new way" of communication.

No, it is working the other way around: you redirect your .com to your .tel!

Oh, yes, incredible, right. Now one can redirect .COM to the .TEL.

Well that is great. Why would one use the almighty .COM® domain, when there is .TEL® stupid degraded Content Management System for your Contact Information or Better Said The New Way to Communicate™.

Big companies are joining in: now instead of Google.Com you will get the phone number and address including Google Maps on the TEL domain. Forget the search. You will find all the Google contacts when you click on THIS REDIRECTED DOMAIN: http://www.google.com

Microsoft has joined the redirection feature as well: http://www.microsoft.com

And big companies started yesterday to redirect .COM to TEL:

    http://www.oracle.com
    http://www.apple.com
    http://www.sun.com

TELNIC still behind with redirection... but it is expected to happen in the 3rd Quarter of 2014.
