Its the best experience I can share with the tel Community, for the Xmas
And also the best gift I can give to ourselves.
We do own a range of premium tel domains awaiting to be developed.
But we needed the best mobility of the presentation of the dot tel in style.
Now we have it and all get benefited.
TELcpV3.0 may not be the best and the most perfect
That's the best we can offer at the moment. But more to come.

It works great on iPad.
So, its Xmas time.
Share your .tel with others!

IDN support

IDN support for tel Domains

When adding a tel domain, tel owners may use either the punycode or the name of the tel domain in native language. All languages supported by Telnic are acceptable.

IDN support when creating Folders

Folders/sub folders may be created in any native language supported by UTF8.

Note:
Those who manage tel domains and created folders in native languages or who may have populated the TELcp database directly from CTH should remove the tel domain from TELcp and resubmit. This process will not affect any records in the CTH. It only deletes the URLs in the TELcp database.

However, those tel Owners with active tel Users, please contact TELcp support for further instructions, prior to removing the tel domain from TELcp powered sites.

Thank you.

TELcp12-29-2011 01:50 PM

Video Record Update

Add/Delete video functionality through TELcp.

Just add your selected video URL (from Youtube, Vimeo or Dailymotion).
TELcp will automatically select the service.

You can have the video on a single page, recursive/non-recursive or different videos on each tel page.
TELcp provides the option to make it Recursive or non-Recursive.

However, if more than one video records are created on a telpage, then the first one parsed by the TelProxy will be displayed, any subsequent videos will then be rendered as standard web contact types.

We have not abandoned the project of translating.
Not Latin characters are not that easy when testing etc.
We might need few more lines for the latest updates.
Will keep you informed about progress.

When you first start managing any tel domain, the TELcp system reads all existing URLs of all folders and stores them in our database (TELcp stores only the URLs of a tel domain. Nothing else from the tel domain). From this time onwards you must create all new folders through TELcp (www.telcp.com). If you do this without TELcp knowing this, then there is no way for TELcp to find out about the new folders.

However, to overcome a situation like yours, if you have already created folders outside TELcp, you may delete your .tel domain from TELcp. Then add the same domain once again. You will have URLs all new folders and old folders written to the database of TELcp. After that you can start manage the domain through TELcp.

If you need to create new folders again, then you must do it through TELcp.

Hope this info helps.

Regards

Oh! Dutch. You have indeed missed a lot in TELcp.
There are two search boxes in the tel Owners home page.
1. to search tel pages 2. to search tel Users

lewisrx03-30-2012 10:50 PM

A new problem:I have reauthorized a .tel, and invited a new tel user, the user can only add new contact records, but can not find and edit records which already exists

Deleting the domain means removing it from the TELcp system ONLY.
The domain and its sub folders DO NOT get deleted at CTH level.
Only the URLs get removed from our database.
When you click the delete domain button, instructions are displayed and for double protection you require to enter your password.

Deleting and Adding domains is just like refreshing, but it deletes all information of the tel User Accounts (So, must take precaution, if you have rented out subdomains) at the TELcp. This is done to protect our business interest in TELcp.

The concept of TELcp is designed to be in line with our business concept for the tel Owner, once registered, to do everything (almost everything) through TELcp. But he/she still has the option to leave TELcp and start his/her own system or go to other place. So, this option allows a tel Owner to leave TELcp and to comeback and start it all over again.

TELcp, as you may already noticed, is not good for parking tel Domains.
It was originally designed to manage our own tel Domains.
But we share our concept with others through www.telcp.com and www.telcp.org (telcp.org is powered by TELcp but slightly different than telcp.com) and other customized tel powered sites.

If you understand our concept, then it is not confusing at all.
In fact, beginning with version 3.0, we do not even provide any instruction manual.
Yet, most of the people with a little knowledge of surfing the internet can handle tel Owner section.
However, the tel User section is very simple compared to tel Owner section, as it has only the content management features.

If you still have any questions, do please spell them out.
We are ready to help you to develop your tels.

Hope this helps.

When you change/transfer the ownership of a tel Page, then the existing contents get deleted.
(This is NOT a bug or any mistake. Purposely designed to be in line with our business concept).

Why the new user wants to use the previous owner's contact details?

Cheers!

1. Use the tel Page Search box or scroll down to select the folder.
2. Click on the folder

A folder (NOT occupied by any tel User) has the option to delete.
Provided that its sub folders have not been Occupied by any tel User.
see the screenshot below.

http://www.telnic.org/forum/attachme...1&d=1333172461

A folder occupied by a tel User cannot be deleted unless you release it from the .tel User.
Instructions are clearly indicated.
see the screenshot below.

http://www.telnic.org/forum/attachme...1&d=1333172461

By the way, all precautions are set within the TELcp to avoid any accidental deletion of contents, folders or .tel Users. Any action with yellow colour padlock indicates the action requires your password.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!
