    Error trying to manage .tel

    Hi,

I'm trying to edit a .tel via the domainmonster interface but I'm getting an unexpected error:

    "Connect to Interface

Due to a high volume of traffic on the Tel Hosting platform we are unable to connect you to your interface. Please try again in a few moments. We apologise for any inconvenience."

Has anybody else seen this and do you know a way around it?

    Thanks

    Hi Markbu

Same problem here, I have been trying for some hours to update one of my .Tels but cannot connect to the interface due to apparent high traffic.

TOO MUCH traffic can only be a good thing (in a way).

Markbu - have you contacted Domain Monster regarding this? It isn't a widespread issue as far as I can see.

If you are in your DM control panel you can actually find your .tel control panel username and password and then login directly, rather than launching through your account there. These can be found within your Domain Monster account within the ".tel applications" section. You should then be able to log directly into your control panel at https://telhosting.domainmonster.com.

teltheworld - are you also trying through Domain Monster?

    Hi Markbu

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but I think the problem could be down to what is known as 'Throttling' and I have under 50 .Tels in my account.

I've only been working on One of them and never saw any message that I had exceeded my quota and had a long break of some hours before I unsuccessfully tried to connect to the interface.

    Hi Aled

I am also with DM but I cannot get onto the interface due to apparent high traffic

Are you able to log in through here - https://telhosting.domainmonster.com/g2/login.action ?

    Hi Aled

Thanks for the Link, I have now managed to log in directly.

    That nailed it.

    Thanks
