"manage" link I have a few domains under the same telhosting provider account, and they each individually have the "manage" link turned on. So why is it that the "manage" link always takes me to the first .tel in my telhosting account? If I'm in abc.tel then I intended to manage abc.tel, not aaa.tel. Can this be fixed, so that the correct .tel is opened in telhosting? Thanks |
Thanks, Boracay. That's a good point. I'll pass this on to the engineering. In the meantime, I can answer your "why" question: the "Manage" link is a simple link to your CTH login, as stored inside your domain. When you login, no info is passed about which route you took to get to the login page, so by default, the first domain in the alphabetic list of names for this account is shown. |

Well, that needs fixing. It's counter-productive and confusing, and wastes time loading the wrong .tel into the web browser. Taking things a step further, so more data could/should be passed to the telhosting panel? Some points for engineering team... 1. Can the telhosting panel open to the EXACT page/subfolder from where the "manage" link was initiated? 2. Can 3rd party developers use the "manage" link? To offer additional services not found in the telhosting panel? Thanks |
Thanks, I will pass these on. |

Thanks for passing this issue on Nadya What's the follow-up rules now? Can I ask again next week? There are things being passed to this team, most seem reasonable to include, some others posting whats assumed to be a relatively simple fix. Any further insight you can share with us about the engineering team, the processes, and what turn around times can be expected? Thanks for your replies always. |
Boracay, There's no need to ask again next week or later. The issue has been added to the list of requested features. It will be assessed internally, prioritized alongside other changes and, hopefully, included into the internal roadmap. Unfortunately, I cannot give you an ETA or any further details on this at the moment. |
