@dutch, I have added my donation banner here: www.Promoting.tel and
    www.Applications.tel
    Thanks for the idea.
    Mark

    dutchstreetdog04-08-2012 01:05 PM

    Hahahahah
so you found the url with the ID
I new you would find it
Great, that there may many donations for your free tools !

    dottel.net04-08-2012 05:45 PM

guys - you shouldn't really use the donate button as per paypals terms its for charity organisations only. there's some fine print here so tread carefully. you can still use the same mechanism but change to not use the term 'donate'. there's plenty of discussion on this topic if you search on google.

    dottel.net04-08-2012 05:46 PM

edit - believe there might be some limit regarding amount you can raise and withdraw. i have also used the donate button on some sites, but wanted to highlight the potential risk..

But good to now, i was a bit worry if a big big ammount is donated, i want redraw instantley!!!!

    Mark Kolb (Kprobe)04-08-2012 06:03 PM

OK, so use Contribute instead it seems just not the word 'Donate'.

    @dottel
Do you now were to find the url with your ID DotTel ?

    dottel.net04-08-2012 07:23 PM

hi dutch - not sure what you mean? i have various urls, buttons, forms from paypal I use across various sites doing effectively the same thing.

My latest project with a donate button is here... joke anti aging site

    Nice site, as always
The minute i opend it field much better !
What i mean is that you gett a html code for your button!
But as you now, you cant put html in the DotTel site's
So you need to find a workarround for that, you need to find The url with the ID from your paypal!
But i think that thats no problem for you!

    dottel.net04-08-2012 08:10 PM

    thank you!

yes my friend. the url is actually presented in the html form. its the action url and you can pass in the parameters submitting the form would do via the url. its just the hosted button id that changes.

So my donation form is: Donate here to dottel.net

    with the url being https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...ted_button_id=
and you just append your button id.

    dutchstreetdog04-08-2012 08:21 PM

    Woaw
I thought i discovered the egg of columbus
But i see your quality here DotTel, just like your sites
Theres still missing years for mi to reach the level like yours, And some others !
Well you cant have it all i guess
I tryed to pull it out of the html, but that didnt work for mi
So i found a little option box called email and thats were i found it!

BUT were do you see your ID then?!
In your first link, or in your second ?!
    I dont see it !

    dottel.net04-08-2012 08:33 PM

its your hosted button id. in the html code its another parameter further down.

you're doing very well yourself and the amount of traffic your shevengin site generates puts most of our sites to shame

    dutchstreetdog04-08-2012 08:49 PM

Has it been tested on animals?
The Anti Aging way has not been tested on animals or human beings. We did undergo internal testing on our development staff though and nearly all agreed it was an improvement

Is your development staff not human DotTel

    dottel.net04-08-2012 08:53 PM

haha - part of the attempted humorous side of the site

    dottel.net04-08-2012 09:40 PM

you need traffic before you can monetise.

hence purpose is to provide a humorous and interesting age comparison... and get people using the site.

fyi - there are actual affiliate links to real anti aging products linked at the bottom of the site. so there is a small amount of monetisation, but thats phase II and not our primary focus for now.

    dutchstreetdog04-08-2012 09:55 PM

    Aha oké
    Thank you mister DotTel
