tel paypal

I did think maybe i had my first tel paypal sale on my site but  guy rings shop wanted to unlock iPhone i said sure pay on phoneunlock.tel but he goes to phoneunlocktel.com so now i need to rethink..

This is a big problem of all unknown domain extensions:
People are used to open domain.com!
If you tell your customers they have to open domain.tel, they think that must be a mistake.
My recommendation is to make sure that you register domain.tel only if you own the same name domain.com, too.
From your .com you could redirect your customers to your .tel, as example with www.teltalk.org/t387-forwarding-mobile-users-to-your-tel-name

this in part is telnames job to get the .tel more known ....
but yes you need both if the shop down the road has the com i will be just sending work to him.
so now we need a £24 tel and a £10 com....but my com can do both.....but i like the fact telnames is easy to update in my pocket like my www.eshop.tel

Telnames indeed has some advantages.
But if somebody pays £10 for a .com, it's more likely he will pay for the mobile website at his current provider; rather than buying an additional domain at Telnames that is even more expensive.

One good thing to educate Joe public after he bought and populated a basic dot something website, is to have him discover what his cherished site looks like, and even more, WORKS like, when browsed from a mobile, and have him re focus on his initial basic need towards the time and money spent, if it was only to have a hello world this is me-my-SOHO-and-my-stuff type of website.

Using desktop emulators to emulate their website easy on various mobile device (not only on latest Smartphones) so that he understands simply how far Joe public is from the truth and the mobile trend.
