Sunrise, thanks!Sunrise wrote:On Twitter a few people mentioned that they have seen the ad on TV.
So, if Ads already were shown on TV and they resulted only of about 100 daily regs, that clearly means, that new Telnic's strategy also didn't work.
If total number of TELs will continue to decline gradualy - as it is now, then the hope of Telnic's investors to get back their $35 000 000 will also decline. Also the hope of TEL domains investors to sell their TELs will also decline and they will begin to drop their TELs even more actively. As a result, Telnic will have less money.
It is interesting, what next move Telnic's management will do?

Re: Telnames is very self-confident
If that failed well the next thing to do is look to attract people like they always try to do, they may need to give people an actual reason to buy into it to get something out of it, other than it just being easy to use it still needs something that all people want (money), install wallets with a virtual tel to tel currency and they'll surely attract greedy profiteers, though hopefully with an actual service or skill to trade other tel card dialing members.
-
Look micro economies are the big thing, they're easy to make and other members have services aka telnames is tailored to people with skills and businesses, thus a micro economy means tel domains being shared, dialed, used daily and even hourly to facilitate small person/business trading.
-
Telnic flatly refused over and over to make telfriends into a social network, but a tel domain is a BUSINESS card! and business cards get shared! thus sharing a tel business card should be social in someway, adding money makes a micro economy that facilitates and forces trading between other tel users which is essentially a social thing and encourages more social usage of their tel instead of ignoring it and or dropping it.-
Keeping people using their tel is one thing, but adding currency wallets encourages people to sign up as they want their own piece of the pie and or to trade with other tel users, so tel does not need a social network it needs a warehouse to list skills/products and such and wallets with local currency held as credits to buy and sell between members, igniting a micro skills based economy.
-
You're probably thinking well we had Google ads etc and all that which didn't attract people as they couldn't get anything from it, aka clicks and such well again telnames is targeting skilled people / business start ups thus artists and anyone who trades online should jump at having an easy to use business card that not only shows off their skills but allows them to make payments to other tel dialing members for supplies and receive money quicker than going through the other payment solution routes.
-
So conclusion hire an economist, install wallets, don't turn telfriends into a social network, but build a inter-tel warehouse, roll out new adverts and see what happens.
