It's always a good idea if you have a Facebook account to set up a FREE Facebook Username, so that surfers can easily remember the URL of your Facebook page.

    Here's some examples:

    https://www.facebook.com/tesco

    https://www.facebook.com/marksandspencer

    and mine...

    https://www.facebook.com/domains123

If you use upper and lower case when creating your Username it will automatically appear as that even if lower case is entered into the address bar - click the MarksandSpencer and Domains123 links above to see what I mean.

    Now try keying in:

    https://www.facebook.com/telnic

    https://www.facebook.com/telnames

    Nothing at all !

I assume Telnic and Telnames have Facebook pages ?

If so, it really would be a good idea to spend about 1 minute creating a Free Facebook Username of Telnic and Telnames respectively - they must still be available as the above 2 links lead to nowhere.

    @Tely

Why add the word "limited" to make it hard to guess Telnic's Facebook Username ?

If I click the 2 links above (whilst NOT logged-in to Facebook) I just get redirected to the Facebook home page.

If I click any of the tesco / marksandspencer / domains123 links in my post (again whilst NOT logged-in to Facebook) I end up at their Facebook page.

So what have Telnic and Telnames done differently to lose me as a user ?

Perhaps Telnic set up the profiles as "not public".

That makes absolutely sense: Telnic is a canceled project and Telnames is a secret project.
Especially Telnic customers shouldn't notice the Telnames project.
Otherwise they could become angry easily, because they wouldn't understand why they don't get a smilar service!

You may well be right !

Two companies (OK one organisation) who want to communicate with the world make it harder for casual viewers to see what they have to offer ?

Next thing they will be making it necessary to register and login to their forum to deter casual visitors from reading posts !

Let's just file this under You Couldn't Make It Up and get on with our lives !

Facebook S**ks, just saying and I'm pretty sure it wont be around in 10 years, it was proven that companies get very few sales via it and stopped using it, only games and social junk seems to work bar a few viral's and the few companies people care about when their not being racist or anti-gay like chick fil a.
