The best feature for .tel since 2009!
This add-on can't be overestimated. It has big value for owners of a telname.

the background image is used perfectly
See here Cactus plants
Edit: I'm not seeing the automatic updates by "push" at this stage. Is it delayed or pushed by telnics server every few hours or so? I did notice however, that on returning to a visited telnames website and clicking on the newer coupon, that then triggers the update and notification centre alerts you that passbook has just received an automatic update.
Overall, wonderful addition to .tel :-)

Now the websites from Telnames need a similar button to copy the contact data into the phone book of the visitor's iPhone - using the same principle.

almost there already....
we are seeing some very good passbook integrated programming here (i think by Henri)
perhaps this is apple's "passkit" framework
so, as now it seems to be implemented into the telnames proxy rendered websites (in safari anyway on the desktop (macBooks and iMacs) so that the "add to passbook" still works. it creates a really nice interactive coupon (displayed right there in the browser)
...and get this, it will even sync it wirelessly to your (nearby or far away) iPhone!!!
thats very cool

Mail from Telnames:
How would you like to automatically notify your customers of your latest offer or promotion? You can now do just that using your .tel. The special offer section on your .tel name is now fully integrated with Apple’s Passbook, meaning when you update it, if your customers have saved it to their iPhone, it will automatically notify them. We have more details on Passbook and how works on our FAQ page.
With the Passbook functionality in place, it’s easy to let your customers know of your latest offer (and remind them about your business). As such, it’s essential that you keep the offer that is on your .tel name up to date.
Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Thanks,

Why not?
Perhaps it's not a selling point for you, but for those who have .tel pro directories it's starting to look like telnames (with telnames direct support) is the ideal self-updat-able premium "upsell".
I have lived in tourists "destination towns" for most of my life, and I can assure you that "coupons" are big big concerns in such towns. Even to the point that if you are a local resident with local zip code, you get mailed a coupon book just before the seasonal tourist onslaught each and every year.
