As some of you are geo-telists and even I own my town .tel I was thinking if telnic ever does anything again I'd hope they would add a service onto tel of the week, this service would highlight .tel speed and dns storage/retreval system by simply hireing a single driver to go around the country with a large led display.
The van/car would be purple and have a good quality 3g/4g antenna, a mobile app would get the geo location and check if a tel exists, so if the car is in Bolton it would pull data from bolton.tel and display what is stored in it slightly app edited to make it more marketable, the car/van would have it's own wifi hotspot maybe using the piratebox mod to offer digital markeing and apps, not just of tels own brand for download on the spot but a new app that brand bases based on the location it's given out, aka a dynamic app that when given out in a geo location focuses on that place rither than a full app which they can get from telnic for roaming. That app should take the icon from the tel of the location it's been given out by the telcar therefor helping promote the directory owner without the owner needing to do anything other than populate his or her directory. So avatar/logo on a tel becomes the apps click button, about txt gets incerted by pulling the about data from the tel etc, credits text pulls the owner data from the whois and the app pulls new data from both telnames and telnic tels of places in that geo location
As for when a driver is in a location where there is no geo tel setup adverting of telnames should be along side adverting to near by people asking them to join up and populate their town/city directory as it's avaible! to buy so grab the app from the mobile hotspot that gives out the files aka the telcar and buy the tel there and then like with telnames, however that app should allow a person to take a geo location aka walk up to a door to ask if a shop owner wants to be included, then snap the geo like map makers do, take photos of the store to be placed into the directory and take photos of the shop name so you dont even need to enter it as it should read the image and return a result or just when the app was given out have all the latest data in it ready to be activated, aka telnic buys a phone book file, and the app loads in boltons and doing quick search it can insert all the data on the spot.
