PLEASE GIVE YOUR OPINION: Deletion of the old templates !!!

The maintenance of 8 different templates in the control panel can mean a lot of work for the operator (Telnic).

Do forum members agree that none of the 8 templates has nearly the same quality as the template from Telnames?
Do you also agree it would be a great plus for .tel if the Telnames template would be available for everyone?

My suggestion: Please delete all 8 existing templates in the Telnic control panel and replace it with the Telnames template.

You must be out of your mind.
Telnames plate has only one page and is 3 times more expensive.
What about people who spent a lot of effort to create a directories ???

Oh, I forgot to mention:

The new template must have all the current features: directory, Telfriends, ads and so forth!

This is out of question.
Since Telnic and Telnames are the same company, Telnic will try everything to prevent that Telnames will get competition by other .tel registrars.

I seem to remember this suggestion being made some months ago (I think by Mark) that it would make far more sense to have 1 Telnic template with all the options (font, colour, layout, etc) selectable by the user.

It has the advantage, if designed corrrectly, of meaning there is no longer a constant demand for Telnic to produce new templates containing yet more pre-defined permutations.

A content management system effectively, the content is created by the user, and the way that the content is displayed is then decided by the use of "tick boxes".

But IMO as helpful as this could be it won't happen for Telnic subdomain .tels because Telnic appears to have no interest in their further development.
