And just think, all they needed to do was create and promote a REAL directory with no subdomain garbage and they might have had a shot at it.

Nobody registered .com's either, until REAL Search Engines existed.

Nobody bought listings either, until REAL Yellow Pages existed.

.Tel's Total Registration figure today is 219,488 according to http://www.Dottel.net

That represents an INCREDIBLY LOW figure of just 1.1% of the 19,898,906 estimate given to ICANN for Year 5 (2013-14) when Telnic Ltd. made their application to run the .tel extension.

So maybe ICANN will decide to let another company take over .tel when the last of Telnic's $35,000,000 shareholder investment runs out ?

Total Registrations are now down to 218,882 according to http://www.Dottel.net - a drop of a further 606 in just 24 hours and well below the March 2011 peak of 333,891.

The way things are going some lucky (?) punters will pick up Telnic for just the value of cash in the bank (+/- debtors/creditors) in the not too distant future !
