.tel lost only 1,331 domains in June 2013: one of the strongest months from 2011 - 2013!

Having broken through the 220K barrier (see http://www.dottel.net), in a downwards direction, it's beginning to look like 200K will be breached by the end of this year.

There are 638 drops tonight - click http://www.dottel.net/daily-dot-tel-drops#drops to see if any take your fancy.

Telnames registrations are at 10,419 - given that Telnames is the only type of .tel now marketed I wonder if  Telnic/Telnames have got a figure at which it ceases to make business sense to carry on supporting the old Telnic subdomain .tel domains ?

I'm not saying this will definitely happen, but IMO everything points to this scenario being played out in the not too distant future.

I certainly am no longer prepared to spend hour after hour populating my Telnic subdomain .tels with such uncertainty hanging over their longevity.

directory creators have already poured hours into their active directory creations.
the product being used for creation has not seen any tool improvement in approx 1 year, but there are no indications it is being cut back mike
