We are very sorry for the current lockdown of this forum.
Unfortunately it was not possible to find a balance between the profuse complaints and the interests of the criticized parties.
The top level domain .Tel has only a chance to survive if the concerns of all stakeholders are taken into consideration.
In the future we’ll give it another chance. We are happy to support the future of .Tel, but we'll watch the further development closely.
A date for the reopening of TelTalk.org is still uncertain, but we follow the situation every day.
Should we have reason to believe that legal claims could affect the operation of this forum, we'll close it permanently.

    WELCOME BACK TELTALK !

It's important for the future ot the .tel project that there is a truly independent forum where those involved with .tel, or those considering becoming involved, can easily (without having to register/login) read the latest info on .tel !

TelTalk provides that platform and it's re-opening is one further step towards making "Joe Public" aware of .tel - IMO the biggest hurdle we face !

We all want .TEL to succeed. One way is to encourage other owners by staying positive. Send your requests for feature enhancements directly to Telnic, keep negativity off the forum please.

So here's something positive: I've now got 50 TelNames sites in the http://www.DiscoverAurora.ca game that will be launching Sept 1st. The game asks residents questions and they search for answers on TelNames websites. The Telnames sites effectively act as ads for merchants. Weekly prizes. Content from the DNS is pulled to create the questions. Photo shoot next week with a customer for Sept newspaper article. Starting to distribute posters to merchants. Please try it out, as I am looking for feedback, although you must be able to pick up your prize in person.

Here's the FB photo timeline showcasing the game and sites:
