    Yell.com "Jumping The Shark" ?

"Jumping The Shark" is a reference from the end of the TV Show "Happy Days" where
the show was desperately at it's end and trying to get attention.

This attention of course was the Character "Fonzie" jumping a shark. >> Video <<

It got attention all right, the series ended shortly thereafter, with many people laughing at the show.

Since then, "Jumping the Shark" is known as a last attempt to re-gain popularity.

Yell.com has decided to rebrand its online effort(s) and change its name to Hibu ???

Story from the Local Search Association reference >> Here <<

Is Yell.com "Jumping The Shark" ... you decide.

Read the comments after the article. A bit of insight into how they operate and why they continue to fail.

I seem to have duplicated this post, in part, in the General section, although I couldn't find the link to the article. No doubt there will be lots of local search experts seeking employment soon.
