    Hi Justin,

Quiet around here, how about a few words from Telnic's Communications Director, been getting Spam emails trying to sell me Telnames. Is this a new initiative?

    Justin Hayward04-24-2013 11:09 AM

    Hello Dialaroom.

I hope you are well and enjoying the sunshine. This is a Telnic forum, so any questions for other service providers and any campaigns they're running regardless of who they are would probably be best directed to them. I'm not involved in any outbound email marketing campaigns so I can't help you there.

    Best regards,
    Justin

    Hello Justin,
    1. Is there any marketing information available from telnic regarding the upcoming long number .tel release?
    2. In what preferred format should a business or person register their long number?
    - Should it include hyphens?
    - should it include an international prefix?

Any guidance from telnic about the expected format to register this new product would be greatly appreciated

    Thank you

    Hello Boracay,

We have an FAQ page at http://www.telnic.org/short-numeric-only.html and marketing information has been provided to our registrars to share with their customers as they see fit to do so.

We would recommend that customers purchase whatever best suits their needs and requirements. With regards to the long numeric strings we are not providing any set structure of usage above and beyond the structured information stored under a name or numeric .tel domain.

    Thanks,
    Aled
