    Very interesting article - all the way back from before .tel's launch - but so much is still relevant to the current situation.

    I remember that article very well.

    I walked away thinking simply ".TEL is the .COM of this TLD concept".

    That is, there are many replicating .COM, over 1,000 TLDs in fact, but .COM rules it's space as the original.

    As a Global Directory with a Domain Name address to a built-in Template, .TEL will rule this space if they execute well.

    Having said that then, nothing has changed, but the jury is out on the execution part of course.

    He has danyork.com and is number one in a google search for "dan york".

    Of course, he is only one of many individuals with their names in a .COM format,
    and only one of a low percentage that actually comes up top in Google with that format.

    If everyone wanted to do what he did, they would need something like oh say, TelPages.com and a .TEL address ...
