CTH Access

Is anyone else having a problem accessing both Domain Monster and Name CTHs?

    13.55 BST 5/6/2012

    Domain monster ok
Name broken (as at time of reply)

    telrific06-05-2012 02:30 PM

Had trouble with Dynadot recent hours, okay now.

    Others no problem.

Thank you. I can not get DM to open - no error message - just keeps searching and no results.

While I'm here, has anyone suffered from unauthorised use of their debit/credit cards in the past few days?

I have one that I last used on Name for a BO but yesterday I was notified that someone had taken £59 from my account through a cash machine in Korea.

What makes you think there is a connection between the cash machine transaction in Korea and your orders at Name?
Have you used your credit card only for Name so far?

    Name & DomainContext

    whats troubles today ?

    Andrew

    HTTP Status 500 -

description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

    exception

    java.lang.NullPointerException

I do not know if there is a connection. I only said I last used it on Name. I asked the question just to see if there had been any other instances among forum members, who may also use that company, and I only raised the matter because Name is off line for an unspecified reason.

I will be happy if no one else reports having had a problem.

I'm just curious to know how it happened, and where the opportunity for the theft arose.

101domain.com had a data breach a couple of months back and got me and others, but it never settled and was rejected due to lack of complete transaction information at p.o.s.

You're not alone, desperate times for crooks too it seems.

The CTH problems tend to occur at multiple Registrars when there is an update.

Maybe the Templates are in prior to the June Newsletter and the Olympics ?

    Blunderer06-05-2012 05:27 PM

Never mind. At least Telnames is still working http://sane.tel

    Aled06-05-2012 05:53 PM

Apologies to any of you who had issues accessing some control panels for a period this afternoon. The issue should now be resolved. Please let me know if anyone is still having problems.

    Thanks,
    Aled

Had HTTP Status 500 - few hours ago at name.com
    Now looks steady.

In general, there has been lot of CTH related issues during the last week or so.
Even the registrars seem to be having issues with tel registry. - That's what they say.

    Where are we heading?

    ++++

    TELcp06-05-2012 05:57 PM

Has anyone had similar issues with telnames' control panel?
Similar to what almost everyone experiencing with leading tel registrars??

I have always found the Telnames site very slow to load - except this afternoon - when it worked well (see above)!
