With the new version of TELcp I noticed the following problems:

    1.) You confused the labels in the section "Edit Image Ads":

    • "Image Ad Source URL" comprised the entry for the destination URL
    • "Destination URL" comprised the entry for the image ad source URL

    If a user is entering the entries by following your labels the images won't be displayed on the .tel domain.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Tested single image Ad under tel Owner's Account
    www.demo.telcp.tel - Add Images & Edit Images - No issues found. Works perfect

    Tested single image Ad under tel User's Account
    www.one.demo.telcp.tel - Add Images & Edit Images - No issues found. Works perfect

    "Image Ad Source URL" means where the image is from.
    "Destination URL" means where the image ad should point to when clicked on the tel page.

    Correct Labels on both accounts in English and Spanish.

    Will test again under multiple Image Ads and see if there is any issue. I doubt that.
    However, if there is anything, will post again. Otherwise, take it as working perfect.

    FYI, image updates to show up on the tel page can take longer depending on various environmental conditions.

    Only coincidentally I could open the targeted tools. (These cases appear with Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.)

    Did not see any issue in FF11.0 & G/Chrome 18.0.1025.142 m.

    Would you mind posting a screenshot of the blank page?

    Before doing that, can you please check at Owner's Account (expand Sub Accounts and click the sub account names) that you have a valid OAuth Token to carry out tasks as requested. If not, there is an option to renew it.

    Blank pages can occur when there is no valid Token available for the tel domain in question. This can happen if a tel domain is added for other than "for ever" and probably not refreshing for continuation. All tokens requested "for ever" remains for ever in the TELcp system.

    Cheers!

    BTW, all above tests were carried out on a WIN7 labtop using FF11.0 browser using a fast broadband connection.

    TELcp control panel should work same way on any iPad, iPhone, latest Androids, BB's (newer versions) and Nokia Symbians (newer versions) as well.

    Cheers!

    When TELcp is reading the existing entries, it put the image source URL and the destination URL in the opposite fields!

    To sort out this problem, try Add images from TELcp to one of your fresh tel pages.
    Wait for a while until it shows up on the tel page. Check the outgoing link (destinnation URL).
    After that, back on TELcp, click to edit the same tel page. Then check if the image source URL and the destination URL are in the correct fields

    I am waiting for your reply. Thanks.

    @Jens

    Still trying to simulate this problem.
    For me it works on different machines and smart phones.

    Was the fault intermittent or is it permanent?
    Did the blank page appear instantly or after some time (timed out)?
    And what type of internet connection was in use at that time?

    Answers to above will help me to investigate this further.

    Thanks.

    @Jens

    If you are still around, can u please tell me the name of the registrar of the domain(s) which gives you blank page(s)?

    Thank you.

    TELcp04-04-2012 04:52 AM

    @Jens

    Very Important!
    Did you have the same issue (blank pages) prior to the video record update on last Wednesday?

    Thanks.

    TELcp04-04-2012 08:02 AM

    @Jens

    It is definitely..
    1) Not the registrar - we use name.com too
    2) Not the TELcp - we tested the same script for all functionality through a slightly slow home users only ADSL connection.

    Jens, hoping I am not troubling you, you may check this through a different ISP (and make sure you clear all browser cache/history in your machine) at your convenience.

    Thanks

    TELcp04-05-2012 03:21 AM

    @Jens

    I appreciate your reply and feedback.
    Looks like your situation is similar to Dutch's.
    Will see what comes up next.
    However, I shall keep you posted through this post.

    Thanks for sharing your experience with TELcp.
