.tel domain mobile phone template! I became aware of the New mobile template today from a tweet by @telrise with a twitpic of numbers.tel showing off the new design. Here's the link: http://twitpic.com/67hwz5 This is fantastic news, for us and all users- giving them a great looking personal profile .tel or business .tel site. For us with waikiki.tel 90% of our traffic is from mobile phone usage (mainly iphone and some android) from people who are in Waikiki trying to find Taxi's and Restaurants. This new template really shows well and also enables more capability for .tel owners to make money from their sites as well. Along those same lines this gives us a huge incentive to build out all the other locations such as Lisbon.tel and Coimbra.tel as well as the entire Vietnam area. Mobile is where it is at, everyone everywhere has gone or is going mobile. Step out on the town in the SF bay area and 99% of people are on an iPhone or Android searching for things. Thanfully we chose to do all our icons in .png (against the grain re small file size reality check) as the new graduated tone in the mobile template header area looks great. So I guess this was the template spotted in ian's blog a few months ago. |
