I've just checked http://registrarstats.com/TLDDomainCounts.aspx and it shows 1,807 .Tels dropped yesterday and just 49 .Tels registered yesterday with the Total .Tel Registrations now down to a lowly 113,973 !

I doubt that the 1,807 drops were all down to individuals not renewing such a large number of .Tels that just happened to fall due on the same day - anyone got any ideas what caused this large drop number on just a single day ?

It's clear the party's over for Telnic and .Tel - why won't Kash let someone else take over and try to save what's left of the .Tel project ?

The drop was caused by the realization among investors (read su*kers - lol!) that the .tel extension was a scam from day one and support was never given to it in any meaningful way.

Congratulations to failed entrepreneur and do*chebag Khashayar Maldavi. A more incompetent businessmen would be hard to find.

Living proof that a Cambridge degree is no guarantee that you will have even a basic level of common sense.

He hasn't passed the project on because he is still getting money from people stupid enough to own this extension. All the overheads have been trimmed to near zero.

Could it be that somebody of bulk-TEL-owners dropped part of his TELs in advance, before the time of their expiration, for the purpose they for sure will not be renewed automatically?

Can we know by some way what the TELs were dropped?

Registrations under 110,000 (109,509) now as people wake up to the .tel scam.
