    @Teler

    IMO it's simply not going to happen !

    Why would Telnic, who have obviously decided that the only promotion and marketing of the .tel extension is going to be of the http://YourBusiness.tel template style (via their subsidiary http://www.Telnames.com) spend any more time and money enhancing what is effectively a competitive and cheaper alternative to their chosen path ?

    The sooner this is realised by those with a stake in .tel domains the better it will be for all concerned.

    I've done my fair share of complaining about Telnic in the past (justified at the time, and twice ended up being banned from their forum) but I really think we've got to the point now of saying the past is past, Telnic got it wrong for the first 3 years, and have now finally got it right so let's move ahead without further distraction.

    It's pretty obvious that Telnames is the path Telnic have chosen to take from now on - it may not be fair - you may not be happy - but this is what is going to happen !

    So I believe you have to either accept the inevitable or decide if the .tel project is really one for you.

    Internet business can be tough - .tel has proven to be tougher than most !

    It wont happen with telnic's public proxy unless their private proxy is in a majority of registrations, then I'm sure they'll loosen up as they won't have much to loose by doing that, but even they might not do it and if they even did you'd only get a static collection not anything dynamic where you can really show yourself off.

    It's up to you to approach your registrar, and convince them you either have enough people following you who also are registered at the same place and need a private proxy or you know or what ever they have enough people paying for it and wanting/asking for it.

    But Likely not the place to hijack your thread but on a telnames note:

    I'm still waiting for the auto updating pictures from an rss or from an twitpic partnership / what ever api they have, I don't see why about.me will let your background auto change based on your new instagram pictures and yet telnames expect a none business to be static or hand updated.

    Telnames has 2 types of customers, business and individuals and we all know business like telnic is PR nuts and don't change very often their brand representation but as an individual with on going needs and a wish to not have to keep manually editing / uploading images to not partnership or use the twitpic api to make the gallery auto update based on the twitter handle posted within a dot tel domain, is really not keeping up with the competition that is doing it for free and that was released a few days after I'd all ready asked here if telnames could do it.

    I like everyone should have their galleries synced, and 6 seems the magic number on twitter that will display on your profile but I'm happy with 5 if they'll just auto update so I don't have to do it.

    Will this ever come?

    Telnic only need to integrate the structure from Telnames for Telnic, as example as a new template no. 9. That’s a very simple task.
