    The longer Telnic is waiting to develop a competitive product, the more the chances are dwindling for .tel to become successful.

    The mobile market is booming, but Telnames has reached only 10,000 customers. That isn't more than nothing!

    I don't see any argument why the masses should buy a .tel! Is there anything you can do with a .tel you can't do with any other domain?

    Hopefully the successor won't make any mistakes by continuing to employ the ███ directors from Telnic.

    @ Tel Forum

    Why did you delete the word "lazy"?

    It’s nothing but the truth. Telnic did absolutely nothing since 2011.

    And Telnames is definitely another company according to their own repeated reassurances.

    Only one message as an example:

    @TelForum

    Justin's link at https://www.eff.org/issues/bloggers/legal/liability/defamation provides the following definition:

    What is defamation?
    Generally, defamation is a false and unprivileged statement of fact that is harmful to someone's reputation, and published "with fault," meaning as a result of negligence or malice.

    Without wishing to state the obvious, a TRUE statement can never be considered defamation !

    So as long as TelTalk posters state what is demonstrably true there can be no problem - do not be intimidated by unenforceable threats of legal action !

    Furthermore, a recent court case involving Twitter resulted in it being declared a "platform" rather than a "publisher" - so Twitter users rather than Twitter itself are being held legally responsible for their own posts.

    One final point - IMO Telnic's Directors are NOT LAZY at all - their CVs show an impressive business history - so why the **** is the .tel project in such a mess ?

    Okay, I will choose a different wording:

    The people at Telnic have produced nothing during the last 3 years!

    I don't know what they are doing! Does anyone know?
