Hey Mark,

Still working behind the scenes to launch Yellow Names publicly, Q1.

Here's the backgrounder on Yellow Names, Registrations are largely a credit to Telnic's efforts:

As you quickly recognized, Yellow Names becomes the ideal "iconic brand" for the .TEL buildout to Businesses globally.

The new era of "Yellow Directories" and "Domain Names" being used together requires a fitting name, hence "Yellow Names".

It is being launched to aid Telnic's efforts and is meant to be the #1 Independent Reseller globally.

Look for it soon, and thanks for the recognition .. Good eye, keep using the term !

.TEL success is just a matter of time ...

    :)

It really looks strange: I took the first three Chinese names from that list of TELs, and at Dynadot they were shown as available - but at name_com the same names were shown as registered.

https://www.telmasters.com/tools/daily_registration - (need to register/open an account to this service).

it would be interesting if official actual/direct links are posted..
It would also be interesting to see what names are reg than just daily reg numbers.

    dottel.net01-27-2011 12:23 PM

Are you sure about those numbers? They don't appear on the master list from telnic.
And overall reg count hasn't fluctuated that much. There was a high number of regs around the same number you describe but that was months ago.....

dottel - you can see actual daily regs (with names) here: http://dottel.net/daily-dot-tel-registrations#regs

    thank you

do you also maintain archive kinda way? so that a user can see previous dates and the names that are reg.

it may become huge data after a while but just wondering if you have this set up already.

    dottel.net01-27-2011 01:53 PM

Yes - we have all the daily deltas and can display ala what we show for the daily drops via the dropdown box.

Nobody has ever asked for historical daily reg's so we haven't bothered to add the drop down mechanism.

I just took a look at Yellow Names to see if the .com was ready.

It looks like it's about complete - yellownames.com
Great job putting the power of .tel together with Business yellow and domain names !

Premium stuff looks great too even if it looks like it's still be completed.

    Good job.
