images - dream People use the internet to get information, but to communicate use phone call, SMS, TXT, skype, whatapp etc. Right now we can add images and if we click on it, will go forwards to an URL for more information. I strong believe is we can click on that images and make a phone call we are going to be close to a new way of communication. There is nothing wrong to click on the image and open a new URL it's fine, but for ads and marketing will be great and fantastic if we click on the image and make the phone call. Many companies like insurance prefer click to call ads, rather than send it to an URL. With clickable images to an URL and phone call, we can make very fantastic and dynamic directories. Any opinion guys, write here. Regards |
It's already possible to have an image as click to call rather than click to go to a URL as Mark shows here - http://www.ez.tel/. How this is done is discussed in this thread - http://telnic.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2188 |

Aled it works online, but not on mobile, ez.tel and the one I did on mobile it says: web page not available, online always open skype. Any suggestions. Thank very much |
Whichever device you use you need the device to recognise the syntax for initiating the call and also to have the necessary software to make the call. Skype handles this very well, which is why it is used on your computer. Unfortunately with mobile devices there is no standardization, so the performance can vary between devices. I don't know if any of our forum users have any tips for devices/syntax for the best results possible? |

I don't know which format you tried, but for mobile adverts (which by their nature will only appear on mobiles), I've been advised that the tel: format is more likely to be successful that the callto: format. |

It's confusing but it's not a Telnic format, just try tel: instead of callto: |

Right Aled callto: does not work in mobiles, but I changed it to tel: and it works perfect for mobile. but tel: does not works online, at the end I prefer it to works well on mobiles. I hope one day it will be standards for all devices. With all my respect hope one day soon telnic increase the #s of images for mobiles (increased images online was great) but we need it on the go too. Aled - Thank very much again Regards |
As I mentioned above, if you are using a mobile advert, than you know it will just appear on mobiles and as such can use the tell: knowing that only mobiles will see it if you wish. |

Hi Ideal, Are you using Mark's tool telvision.co? I am facing some issues and not sure if it is my PC or the app or telnic or mobile? I know it worked very well when i was using Telcp. Unfortunately, it does not seem to be supporting Tel users anymore... When i add tel: and save it, the system adds http:// not sure if that is correct. Can you confirm if it works on BB and Samsong Android? Many thanks |
