A big day for .tel registrations yesterday - we are of course at the time of year where "prime" registrations initially registered on 23/24 March 2009 (.tel launch date) will expire if they've not been renewed.
The figures from http://registrarstats.com/TLDDomainCounts.aspx show yesterday had 276 NEW Registrations with just 54 REMOVED Registrations.
"NEW" of course covers both truly new .tel registrations as well as those that have dropped and then been re-registered by someone else within seconds.
Is all this activity just down to .tel enthusiast Mark Kolb of Telmasters.com or are others anticipating a "changing of the guard" very soon and getting in before that occurs and prices start moving upwards ?

PS. I've got the Sedo payment (£500 GBP less commission) for Tshirts.tel safely in my bank now, buyer just needs to load their data via CTH to populate the domain.
