To place a big logo for Telnic on every .tel domain is impertinent.
When I buy and customize my own .tel I want to decide myself what content I place and for whom I make promotion, but the .tel logo is impossible to delete.
This behavior of Telnic is not acceptable and complete uncommon for the domain industry. Does anybody still wonder why domainers avoid registering .tel domains?
Who is paying the registration fees for .tel domains: Registrants or Telnic? Does Telnic pay registrants anything for promoting their company?
And how much benefit this logo has brought to Telnic? Have they become successful with it? Or are they still hoping they will reach more customers?
Please give the user the option to delete the .tel logo from our domains. Every .tel user will choose deleting it immediately!

Well first off you're using a default .tel avatar on this site? or did you upload that yourself? so are you really so upset over that logo? and second they do allow us to remove the link but I always believed it should set a cookie and allow us to make a little money back, maybe they can do that now with telnames and or other registrars? aka if it links to telnics website but a landing page of a registrar we support? so those who want to have the .tel icon link active will be able to be an affiliate? so say with telnames at £14.95 - £2.95 per sign up for our registrar wallets? that can go towards paying for our .tel renewal? and we can then use it to also purchase more .tel domains? and trade to other .tel users?
    ..
I've never been bothered about the logo other than I would have liked it to have multiple theme surrounds like a sunflower surrounding it or a gear or car steering wheel, or a bike wheel or a coin etc and then it blends into the type of .tel site it's on.

That would be a quick and easy way for Telnames to have an Affiliate link for those who wanted to earn some commission from their populated .tel domains.

Of course there needs to be a "Cookie Period" - 30 days is fairly usual - so that if a user clicks through from your site, but buys on a subsequent visit by going direct to Telnames, you still get the credit for the sale if within 30 days.

This approach is standard on Affiliate Portals such as http://www.CJ.com and http://www.TradeDoubler.com

BTW Telnames are currently looking for "Partners" to help sell .tels - here's the thread about it - http://www.teltalk.org/t261-partner-with-telnames
