Maybe it hasn't happened yet as Telnames are not that well known in the eyes of Joe Public.

But just how long is it going to be before someone gets up to 'mischief' think 'school holidays' and starts using up their Free Smartphone Minutes by randomly clicking and dialing someones Telname?

Maybe there is a bot somewhere that can do that?

Is there a way you can limit (ie turn off) the clicking and dialing facility outside working hours? as I can see something like that becoming a real nuisance in the future.

It seems to me that you either display your number or you don't

Is there anywhere else you can put your number where that couldn't happen?

At Telnic they have profiles for this purpose, but you have to switch between them manually.
There is no option to do it dependent on time yet. This feature is really missing.
At Telnames you have to switch off every contact even separately.
So the only possibility is to switch off your phone (or deactivate your SIM card) after business hours.

Needs to be a priority aka the timer settings, if you put you work 9-5 in the hours box then it should auto hide or de-link the number or replaces it with a voice mail only number when out of hours.

Though there are apps that can mute your phone ring tone and redirect the call? thus I don't see why telnic/telnames can't update the app so that it runs a tiny program that it auto switches the phone settings to mute (no ring and or redirect etc) when the phone is in a time/time zone outside of what you stated you work on the telpage.

Thus you could leave it switched on and active to receive calls and know for well that it wont bother you when your not available as you wont have to "lift a thumb" to do or change anything, as it's ruining the telname call "management" app in the background and will mute all ring tones and send out a "standard" text message to phones capable of recieving it.

Much the same way that emails can send out "sorry I'm out the office until" you could put "Sorry I'm not available to work until X hours, but if this is an emergency you can reach me at this other number".
